Calder has a new habit - lying prone on the floor. I saw him doing that in Sunday School and at home. He would relax his limbs and neck and turn his cheek to one side to achieve maximum contact with the ground. What a curious sight. Unfortunately, he tried doing that at the supermarket today, and was chided by the cashier. I tried explaining, "Calder, you cannot lie down on the supermarket floor. People walk here and there and they have sai sai (shit) under their shoes. You want to lie down on sai sai?" (Calder is afraid to touch shit - my neighbourhood has its fair share of dog shit.) And Calder reacted, "No!" I hope he gets the message.
